Endangered Species Surverys and Studies

We are constantly updating our training to gain new knowledge for conducting surveys and trapping methods that will benefit our clients. Our employees frequently attend training sessions conducted by Hudsonia, Rutgers University, USFWS, DEC as well as private institutions to maintain our survey and reporting skills.

NCES are USFWS qualified/listed Bog turtle surveyors, and have been successfully conducting surveys for endangered and threatened species such as the Karner blue butterfly, frosted elfin, timber rattlesnake, bog turtle, northern cricket frog as well as a variety of plant species throughout New York State.

We also have attended the Bat Conservation International (BCI) training to update our experience conducting mist net surveys for the endangered Indiana bat, as well as other bat species.
